My Mom, when I was born.

Same here bro. I know how you feel. But she was in love with someone else, some guy who liked to call himself "daddy". PFFT! I thought my situation was terrible until I spent a day at my friend's house. His mom apparently was in love with some man too and when that man would leave, she would be in love with some woman. I guess my friend had two mommies.

Wow! That is so unusual of you to give such propositional response. Something must have happened. Were you the guy who liked me a lot and sneaked in a little note? :Q I'm teasing you, hon'. 😉 But I'm kind of amazed to see such response from you. I thought you would have some philosophical view of love and conclude that it was impossible to achieve love that early.

People consider me a geeky computer nerd, and I spend way too much time programming and pointlessly chatting on these forums. Take a guess... 😉

Her mother didn't think anything was wrong with our relationship, but her father & uncle didn't like the idea that one of their woman were dating an Asian.

It broke my heart to agree with my ex to end our relationship, because her family was more important. So her mother & father could smooth out their differences in their believe on mix couple.

Her mother was angry with her father, and moved out on her own for 3 months to reassess their marriage. She couldn?t believe that she were marry for 29 years & didn?t know that her husbands were a bigot.

Her father exact word that he told the family, and it was then latter reiterate to me by my ex that still have a spot in my heart: "It is okay to have friend between races, but we should be with our kind"

It was painfull for me to hear those words 15 years ago, and it was even worst for my ex because she has to reiterate the terrible words to me.
