How old is your Zippo?

what does smoking have to do with it? i don't smoke and i have over 15 Zippo lighters. i collect them (well when i can afford to).

my oldest one is only a 1982

exactly.

the "do you smoke" threads have been posted many times before.. this thread was aimed toward collectors and the like

I don't know, I got one given to me circa WW11 or Korea, not sure which, with navy stuff on it. Not even sure exactly where it is. Got a mess of pipes from that time frame too.

you a collector then? i'm just starting, i've only really bought ones that i find in places of the country i have been (or out of the country for that matter). although i do have a couple engraved lighters from Naval ships.

i'm trying to get my dads from him, he has one he had in the army back in the late 60's.

yes I am just starting as well.. but i already have one from 1968 (my grandfather's) and a few others i haven't been able to date yet which are very old.
