Hey guys i was wondering if my processor can match up to all the latest games that r coming up/available... eg: just cause 2, crysis warhead, lost planet 2, starcraft 2 and many more. Maybe i need to buy a new processor?

My processor is Amd Phenom x2 545 3ghz.

ram 4gb ddr2
nvidia 9800 gt

Motherboard: Msi 785gt-e63 (MS-7551) bios v28.0

should be fine for those game but in the next cpl years games will move to more threads and a quad would be of better use (your proc is fine for a while)

I think your processor is fine, just save up to upgrade videocard if things get a bit slow.
I know some parts of Crysis will slow you down quite a bit, but you should still be able to play through it.

eh - I'd say upgrade them both at the same time. If you get anything half decent as far as the GPU is concerned, you're going to be CPU limited.

I built my sister a system with that same MB - just throw in a Phenom II x4 and you're good to go. They are pretty cheap nowdays.
