I hunt down Windows systems and replace them with Mac, Linux, and BSD systems.

I make plenty, but still can't afford the ultimate home theater.
 
Why's everybody so hung up on telling how much they make? I really don't care if even the people I work with know about it. It's not a big deal.

Threads like this make me glad I'm not in the IT field. Too many people hung up on who they are and what they do.

Doesnt really have anything to do with IT. People in any field have the same stuff. I know I-Bankers that try to one up each other in pay and pride, Lawyers that compare the cases they've worked on and their win-loss record.

Just happens to be since this is AT most people are in the IT field...

What field are you in where people dont care about their position?

Threads like this pop up on the average of every twenty days on this forum. I see it here more than any other message board dealing with a profession. (Edited to say 20 days is a little exaggerated but people do tend to brag their wages and position titles a lot around here.)
