Gotta stop you right there. Bible doesn't say that actually. Doesn't say anyone goes to heaven when they die or ever. To sort of answer your question though, it says we get new bodies.

What? I thought that was the whole point of Christianity. To get to Heaven? Or is it that most of the followers don't know jack about what they preach?

Christianity hinges on fear mongering. You'd better be a good little boy and girl or you'll GO TO HELL.

Catholic church wouldn't exist if they actually believed the bible. Most, sadly, don’t know or understand it.

The point, as expressed explicitly by Jesus himself, is loving one another. What happens after death is not talked about much, but eventually you get eternal bodies that don’t decay like these. Robots? Magic? I don't know and don’t think about it much really.

You'd practically have to avoid thinking to believe what you do. Unless, of course, you'd like to continue the conversation we started ages ago that you cowered out of?

I will not derail someone's thread. If you have a topic to discuss either PM me like others do or start a thread if you want more input than just mine.

I have PM'd you. Have you forgotten? You scape-goated out of that, too, just like how you're doing now. You've already derailed this thread, now you're using that as an excuse to avoid the conversation.

How convenient.

Mormons believe you get a perfect body. (though the doctrine doesn't specify what perfect really means.)
JWs believe you get whatever god remembered you as having
Hindus believe (after you live a perfect life) that you'll end up in nirvana but without a body
Buddhists believe similarly.
Agnostics/Atheists may believe in life after death, but it really depends on the given agnostic/Atheist. (There doesn't have to be a supreme being/s for there to be an afterlife, thus you could still be an atheist and believe in life after death).

If people are ok with making up a fictitious concept of "heaven" where you go after you die, they're perfectly ok with making up different stories about what kind of physical condition you're going to be in when you get there. The fact that different denominations of Christianity have different ideas about this (that are apparently based on wishful thinking) supports this assertion.

The great and omnipotent Flying Spaghetti Monster remakes you in his image. Blessed are the Pastafarians who worship his great noodly appendages.
The only real question is...

Saucy or plain?

Well, since everyone makes stuff up anyway, I'm gonna go with it working like the salt monster from "The Man Trap"

Star Trek theology: It's just as good as everything else.
