I'm 20 and this forum is nice because it's full of old american people, way different from the average internet community filled with angry kids.
This is like a internet reserve where you can observe an untainted environment.

Nice bell curve peaking around early 30s... So this is the maturity level of a bunch of 20 and 30 year olds.

we ain't old fool. and get off mah lawn!

29 here, *sigh*

interesting results. I would have guessed the average age to be lower. It's as if this forum has mostly kept the same group of people for years and so the average age has been increasing.

48...2 more years til middle age.

44 here.

I think you're being optimistic for middle age. Regardless of what "people" say, you can expect to live to about 80, maybe 85 if you're lucky. I'm being generous here. Statistics don't reflect that. So, to make the math easy, and being generous, we'll do 84/2 which equals 42 as middle age. since that doesn't happen all at once, we'll drop that down to 40 for the slow ease in. Hate to say it, but you're dropping down the right slope. No worries, I'm right behind you keeping you company. Lucky... :^P

Heard about this forum back in 2004 when my friend was teaching me how to build computers. Thought I'd actually make an account to semi-lurk.

This question comes around more than once a year for some reason.

probably because no one can believe that most of our members are actually adults based on the dumbass questions and beliefs that get posted here.

To those who are teenagers, I am a grumpy old bastard.
To those who are in their 50s, I'm "a kid."

I'm 32.
