Inspired by a fit of dementia from staying awake since 3am yesterday morning because I had many important things I needed to do today. I'm 24 and don't know how often I could do this. Right now I am so tired that I couldn't sleep even if I tried.

Usually I get nine hours of sleep, and occasionally eight or seven. Only once have I ever stayed up for more than twenty-four hours.

I stayed up for about 48+ hours once for finals week and have also slept about 20 consecutive hours straight.

Stay awake two days, make up sleep on the third. That's what I always find myself doing.

About three times every semester. Gotta love those all nighters. Once I did two days in a row.

when i worked nights, i would do it every weekend, get up friday night to go to work @ ~7:00PM or so, get off from work sat morning @ 8:00AM, stay up all day to spend time with wife and went to sleep with her, about 11:00PM sat night or mabe all the way until 3:00sunday morn.

did this for ~3yrs, really wears you out. i was basically tired for 3yrs :(

now, never, usually get about 6hrs/night

I've actually never done a COMPLETE all nighter before, but I can definitely see some coming up.

For me, 6 hours sleep a day during the week, 10-12 on the weekends. Of course, I normally get one or two days with 2-3 hours and on friday, it's not too uncommon for me to be up 24+ hours.

Now my english teacher, she's fvcking insane; she's up till 2-3 everyday and then has to get up around 5:30 to get to school early. We all know this becasue we email her at 2am with questions on papers and she's like, yeah, I admit it, I'm lucky when I get 4 hours of sleep.

When writing a paper or cramming for a final

One time I worked 40 hours in a 46 hour time period, 5x8 hour shifts, one at a grocery store and the other at a discount store.

Same here, and if my sleeping cycle messes up because I've stayed up late because any number of reasons, and I don't think I'll get my 6 - 8 hours, then sometimes I just pull the full 24 hours and sleep. I'm a university student, and only have about 3 days of university, so it's alright, but those three days are 9 - 6 so usually I'm burnt out by the end of the day and get a nice sleep that night.

gimme 4 to 6 hours of sleep and I'm fine. But, if there are a lot of 4 hour nights, then I'm sleeping in until at least 9am on Saturday.

Amazingly no despite the fact that I am a college student that cares about his grades.

Not very often, but I'd be doing it right now except I can't get to the printer I need to finish my work until about 4:30 AM, so I'll sleep until then and then finish up my work.
