Considering the number of people that know what my forum nick is a reference to, it's oddly rare. My IRC nick is also rarely used but is more often used, and one person managed to use it over 50 times in one day (limit to the server's /whowas log) while getting killed once every 3 minutes... for 4 consecutive days. My email nick is never used unless it's because I abandoned the address or some spammer on a "lets use random letters and numbers" move took it.

Never had it taken anywhere, but someone's had the domain for a few years and never really done anything with it.

Well that's just ducky, I checked it again and now it's apparently for gay pr0n
I use this name EVERYWHERE except for Ebay, where some guy registered the name back in 98 or something :| I asked the guy about it and he said that people called him "Yzzim" in the locker room in high school. I stopped talking to him after that :Q
before 9/11 it was never taken.
after 9/11 is always seems to be taken.
have been Ground Zero for many years dating back to the beta release of starsiege and tribes.
Sometimes. More often than not, though, it's not taken. For some reason, I want to say that it was taken here (Supermercado), so I used a mispronounciation of it that one of my old CS clanmates made one time), but I've not really ever had a problem getting it (or another that I use just as often as Supermercado).
Although there is someone on IRC right now that has "Super" and won't give it back (limited to 9 characters so I can't use my whole name).....
back when i was first on the internet joph was never used but over the years i have seen it grow to more people using it. i wasnt able to get in in AOL cause i hated aol for the longest time and refused to use AIM but i was sucked into it.
but mostly i can get joph all the time. i think. i really dont sign up for much stuff any more. but my name is growing. i wish it was still unique.
