1. Drain all fluids from car
2. Start car (the rotating part flings out excess fluids)
3. Floor car in neutral.
4. Stick all applicable appendages in moving parts of the engine
5. Pay off hospital bills
6. Purchase a new car, which comes with fresh fluids.

7. Read a manual, I'm sure it's there.

You could always call the Toyota dealer and ask them.

There should be a recommended maintenance schedule in your manual though or a separate guide on this included in the folder with the manual.

Now that I think about it, my Toyota Tundra did have a separate maint. guide.

Edit-Our new Lexus also has a separate guide for scheduled maintenance.

a flush/fill should be done every 30-50K

a full service should be done every 60-100K

best thing to do is to check the fluid and wipe it off on a clean towel, smell and look at it. if it smells burnt and is not pink it should be serviced asap.

Depends, is it a real transmission, or a slushbox? Either way, 15k is way too early for your first change.

Slushbox as in automatic. Edmonds says 30k, but I could only choose a manual o_O. I'll see if we have a seperate service owner guide.

I could go out and look in my guide, but I don't feel like going out it's hot. :)
