How often do you type a reply...

I'd probably have twice the post count if I submitted all my replies. Most of the time my reasons for not clicking "Reply" are because I realized what I typed was either stupid, unrelated (whoops wrong thread) or just really really vulgar. :p I'm guessing the boards would benefit more if everyone had this issue. :D

5-10 is what i voted for...but it's really like less than 1% of the time.

5-10% sounds about right. Editing, on the other hand, occurs in probably 80% of my posts.

5-10%.

Typically an instant reaction to something..then I think again and keep my mouth shut. :p

10% to 20%. I often start to make a P&N post in a P&N thread, and realize what the hell I was about to do.

I do it from time to time, and it's a good thing i do or else i would have made some really stupid comments. I've often backed out of making dumb threads too, some pretty long ones.

quite often in P&N. Usually because I don't want to bother typing out everything I want to say, or because I realize I don't want to get into a long discussion about something I don't care that much about.

but OT is much more mindless and most posts are only a sentence or two, so I don't hesitate much here.

Never still has zero votes. Goosemaster hasn't been in here yet then. Or would that have to be "how often do you type a really stupid thread..."

I do it all the time.. Mostly because I don't want to start a flame war that I won't be able to attend.

happens sometimes when i'm reading a controversial thread.
i'll feel like getting my thoughts out so i will type a response, but i also don't want to get involved if it is too crazy, so i won't post it.

Same here. It's gotten to the point where I never post in P&N and just post a bunch of idiotic drivel in OT.
