How often do you run Windows Update?

Somewhere in the neighborhood of never. 🙂

HA

i go about 2 times a month
That's not very often. Are you sure you are getting enough fiber? 😉😛😀

I'm not sure how often it's run on my PC. My hubby takes care of all that stuff. 😀

: ) Amanda

I enabled the option around the time of XP SP1 to use spare cycles to check for updates... and it alerts me when stuff is available... and alerts me again when it wants to install them. No problems so far. And I'm not really paranoid.

I have my WinXP computers and WinMe computer download the updated automatically, so the computer checks Windows Update on a regular basis. My laptops are updated manually, but since they are rarely hooked up to the web, there's not much need for any of the updates.

About every 2 months or so. I just download the updates when they are in one convienent package. I find it much nicer to do one package at night when no one is bothered than to repeatly be interupted to download small updates that most likely won't affect me ever.

when teh little notification thing pops up and tells me i have to install something

just ran it and there are 3 things there. some jurnal viewer - dont need that

.NEt framework - dont need that
Nvidi diaplay driver 4.0.7.2 - which sucks balls and i have teh newest Dets dont even know why its there

LOL!

I do it once every 2 or 3 weeks. I don't use the autoupdate since I'm keeping SP1 off of the computer. Had problems when running with SP1, but wasn't sure if it was the problem or not, but it's fine now w/o SP1.
