How often do you restart your computer?

I generally leave mine on until I need to restart to speed things up or if I have to after installing an app..on average it's about twice a week.
 
As long as I can possibly go... been known to go 3-4 months. I hate rebooting.
 
only if the power goes out for an extended period (UPS on all computers) or MS patch requires it
 
I coulda sworn we just had this topic a little while ago.

My gaming machine gets reset once a month.
Internet computer is every two weeks or every week if file-sharing.
 
Under no circumstances do I EVER shut my computer down, well unless there are hoards of spiders crawling out of the PSU. Did you know spiders conduct electricity?
 
Mine are shut down any time they aren't going to be used inside of three hours or so. I'll be damned if I can figure out a good reason to leave 'em on 24/7.
 
Mine never gets turned off because I don't see the need. The electricity usage is small and it's nice to be able to jump on and off as desired throughout the day. For restarting, only do it when something gets screwed up or something requires it, usually about once a week.
 
I shut my main machine off when I go to bed, since I won't be using it for about 16 hours. If I need a better reason other than I pay the electric bills, it's that for 16 hours a day the fans won't be sucking dust into the case.

My watercooled TEC rig gets fired up for about 2 hours just to fool around with it and then it goes back off.
 
I turn it on and off twice a day.
Once in the morning before work and again in the evening.
I don't see any point in leaving it on if I'm going to be asleep or away.
Occasionally I'll leave it on overnight and set it to shutdown when people stop downloading from me.
