How often do you get carded?

Unless it's a bar that I go to often, I usually always get carded. My favorite bar around here always cards my friends, and when I pull out my ID, the bartenders say things like "sad to say, but I've seen your face too many times."

Never. I know the guy that works in the liquor store, and he doesn't give a crap I'm underage. General philosphy where I live is 'You're old enough to pay = you're old enough to drink'. 😀

At grocery stores... all the time. Some party stores, only some of the time, at most restaurants hardly ever

Always except at liquor the local ABC store or the bar my coworkers go to for happy hour since the clerks recognize me and when I am with my parents.

I am mainly interested in the ID check rate at Liquor Stores..

The Netherlands.

Beer, wine and whiskey are my main drinks of choice. We've got a bottle of 47-year old rum here, it's might fine.. 77.5% when it was bottled, though 😛.

18, once, and it sucked. I was at a wedding with an open bar, and said minister overheard me getting te card...didnt go voer well

Maybe your parents think you are gay because you are 15 and drinking wine?

And beer and whiskey? Nah, the problems were solved.. Everthing's A-OK here 🙂.

Also, what's wrong with drinking wine? I like wine.

The local cops run a lot of underage liquor stings here, so the stores and bars tend to be pretty stringent on carding people under 30. Every year, there are a dozen or so who lose their liquor licenses, or have them suspended for 30 days or more for selling to underage kids who are working with the cops...(usually explorer scouts) In addition, there are hefty fines for both store owner and the employee who sell illegally, and can include jail time.
