How often do you flash your system bios?

Last time I had to flash a BIOS was to add large drive support to a BX board. The last couple of boards I've installed (i815ep's) shipped with good BIOSes.

like most people here, I think the answer would be "only when you have too". It's somewhat risky and most of the time it's fairly pointless. The last time i flashed a bios it was to enable some overclocking features and new proccessor support in my k7s5a, I never flashed it before or since.

Usually only to address a prblem or needed feature(such as new cpu support). I use MSI's Live Update(nowadays) to Flash my BIOS, it first finds the newer BIOS then Flashes it right in Windows, works slick.

I used to that with my original asus A7V. But when that went bust, i got a abit KT7A-RAID, and that doesnt have that feature.
