I'm not sure if you are implying that it is more fun to play a FPS while drunk, or if you don't drink b/c you don't want to impare you FPS ability......

oh and I drink on average 2-3 times a week. 1-2 of those nights is usually 1-4 drinks, either beer or a mixed whiskey (Jack&Coke usually) drinks. Then 1-2 of those nights is usually a 6-12 night depending on my mood and what I'm drinking. For example Wild Turkey rare breed is like 100+ proof and Jack Single Barrel is also higher % if I remember correctly. But it's good to toss in a tomato light beer to slow myself down 🙂

I drink about 4-5 times a week. I probably fit the clinical definition of an alchy, but it doesn't bother me. I hold down a good job, have a hot girl, work out religiously, etc etc.

I think it's fun.

I've played while buzzed. I didn't see the appeal. I maintain that alcohol should only be used to enhance already-fun (and already-comfortable) social situations.

Playing BF:Vietnam drunk & high would be attempting to be in the soldier's state of mind... so it's not that far-fetched. Watch Apocalypse Now and you'll see what I mean. 🙂 Watch it anyway, great movie.

Personally I don't drink much anymore, I did in university and it tapered off from there. Now I'd say when we have company, we have some social drinks and maybe once every couple/few months I get completely blitzed with the boys. I might not even have beer in the house right now... 😱

I have a barcode scanner on my kegerator that I scan everytime I get a beer. This week I'm averaging 1.71 beers/night, I'd say that is a typical week. Usually 1-2 beers per night.

Nothing wrong with being a nerd. This was a good chance to teach myself mysql. And I made a nice html interface which keeps track of how many beers I've had from each keg so I know when I'm running low.

OP - you need an option that allows for slightly less than daily but more than weekly. I have a feeling a lot of us (myself included) drink multiple nights a week, just not every night...I'd say 3-5 nights a week for me, sometimes 1 drink, sometimes 10, just depends on what's going on.

I have a friend at work that used to have a several beers while working out and take smoke breaks every few sets. one of his friends said that he thought it was stupid until he started doing the same thing.

lol...sweet. I think if I had a kegerator I'd go through WAY more beer. I guess I'm such a cheap ass I feel bad opening a can all time. Plus I always fear I'm going to run out of cans at an inopportune time and have to buy more, which again costs money. But if I had a keg, I'd figure it was cheaper than a can so I wouldn't feel as bad, and it would be so much easier to just say "I'll have 1/2 a glass it's already paid for" which turns into 4 glasses.
