How often do you check your credit report?

Every 4 - 5 months. I get the free ones through the FTC's site and just get a different company's each time. I never bothered to check my credit score. I used Experian's service once because my LL wanted it before signing a lease and it was great, so whatever.

What's the best way to get a report and score in Canada? I'm kind of curious to see mine but don't really want to put my info into a random website that I find on google.

Never.

Seriously, I've never checked it in my life and don't have a clue what it is.

I'm hoping my score is perfect because the credit companies should have a hard-on for me since I loan them free money.

I keep getting calls from Citi financial asking if I want to take a loan. 😱 I took a loan from them once, so I'm guessing once in a while they do credit checks on previous customers and call the ones with good credit. Not sure if they can see how much money I have in the bank/credit cards too, so if they see it's low maybe that's when they call.
