How NOT to water-cool a PC

very funny😀
this proves that:filling a case with tap water+turning on the computer = choose one(a big joke/disaster/not a very good idea)
btw,the link i tried didn't work
but this worked

Just because a motherboard is green like plants does not mean you need to water it.

let me change it to 110 volts.😀

That has to be the dumbest person I have ever heard of.
I had no idea people like that actually existed.

How can anyone possible think they can "cool" a computer like that?
If there was ever a computer stupidly award I would vote for this guy a couple hundred times.

I probably just said what a lot of you were thinking.

The big moment had arrived so I called in my wife and mother in law (who was visiting) and I announced "prepare to hear nothing!" and flicked the switch on the socket on the wall.

Well, he was right about hearing "nothing"....it will be nothing for while now, me thinks.... 🙂

did you guys see the last page?

Someone put a styrene cup around his CPU and taped it to MB ... and dropped what looks like dry ice into it ...

It looks like a mini nuclear reactor ... LOL

That is definitely a joke, and a well-executed one at that. Look at some of the things he says; it is obvious that he is just having some fun:

My PC is completely shagged thanks to stupid suggestions that I got on this forum. What the hell am I going to do now. I spent two hours last night with a hair drier inside the PC case and it still trips the switch

I get the feeling that some of you are mking fun of me. Ok it probably wasn't the brightest thing to try but I did it because of suggestions I read in this forum and as such I lay the blame for this disaster at the feet of the people who talked about water cooling but did not bother to explain it fully

Another clear jab at people stupid to try something without reading up on it first.

I mean I'm not a total idiot (as some of your unkind replys would suggest) I did wrap the power supply unit in cling film plastic wrap before I filled it with water

Possibly the best quote in the whole thread 😀
