How Noisy are the new PCI-E nVidia boards?

If they are anything like the AGP 6800GT reference cooler, they would be pretty damn quiet. I cant even hear my 6800GT reference AGP card.

That is good to hear....whew. Do most of the boards use that type of cooler?

I am thinking about the BFG Technologies 6800GT's can someone comment on that?

Unless they did something smart (and expensive) any small high RPM fan is going to be noisy.

The last fairly quiet card I've had was the 9800pro. People have different concepts of quiet, I had a Ti4200 prior to the 9800pro and it was fricking noisy. Its too bad review sites arent posting .wav files of the noise a card makes like they were at one time.
