STFU, you libs really want dementia China Joe? And being an equal opportunity hater, effing Romney and McCain? What the damned Eff. These peeps are our choices? Where's the 3rd party?

It makes me think, 'do you want the Brits/French/Canadians, or Hitler? Easy choice.' Our country has a huge loss not choosing Bernie, and that's on Democrats. But Biden or trump, is the easiest choice in the history of the presidency.

Nothing special, tastes like chicken.
Well, when I was swimming after them (with fins on) they were AFAIK fair game, but since became a protected species, so I'm just gonna have to eat my chicken and pretend it's a turtle. Swim on, my friends, swim on. :D

way too nice for my own good
I don't think of myself as nice. But the fact is that I refrain from going off on people when I realize it will only confuse them, bring them down, spoil their mood, IOW when I know it won't help them (or myself) in any way and will only have destructive consequences. So, that includes my online interactions and telephone communications.

GF told me when I met her dad that he remarked to her "that man doesn't suffer fools gladly." Same GF told me I had a reputation as a man with a temper. That was a long time ago, though.

100% agree...if you're a socialist. That track record falls a bit short.

Not. The problem is that dumbtard pubbies haven't had any interest in public schools or low income neighborhoods or even gay communities.

WRT OP: too nice for my own good, but also make social mistakes that make me seem like an asshole, even if I meant well.

Dear everyone, I suggest that a better thread here could be how I know that I am a nice guy or gal or human being.

Modesty aside (hehehe), I know that I am a nice human being, as I always have a gentle smile for anyone even a stranger, when we happen to see each other face to face; and if he does not smile back I still keep smiling until we pass each other, or he turns away from my presence.*

*Someone here or some people here will point out that my opening words above already show me to be what, an unpleasant character? - hehehe (no one is perfect, see?).

On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the nicest guy you've personally ever met, how do you compare? This crossed my mind today as I'm driving on the highway coming across the rudest people just because they're enclosed in a metal chassis. Guys who cut in at the last minute and otherwise have no courtesy whatsoever. You wouldn't do that standing on a line - so why do it in a pack of cars?

So, not only behind the wheel, but an everyday human...1-10, what would you rate your niceness, honestly?

And then when behind the wheel? :D

9, 8 for me. I'm very easy-going and want everyone to like me... so I give it first. Behind the wheel I tend to be aggressive, but that doesn't mean I'm an ass to others.

Wow, you should know better than the cheapest lie about Bernie. He's for FDR economics. Increase healthcare and education and Americans' wealth, decrease inequality and the national debt. He'd move closer to Scandanavian policies. Great track record.
