How much would you sell your soul for?

SSSnail

I know a lot of people here are not superstitious, me included, but let's say someone would come up to you, and say "I want to buy your soul". You don't have to die right away (upon natural death could they claim it), but you have to sign a document stating that person owns your soul. How much would you sell it for?

Seeing as I don't believe in that stuff, I'd probably sell it for 100 bucks or more. I'd then sell it again to the next person that offered.

Exactly, I would sell my soul multiple times, and then buy a soul back before I die, just in case.

i would sell my soul for $100,000,000,000,000 ... this way i can invest in cloning... clone myself, so i could potentially become immortal.. and since i dont believe in souls, i lost nothing to begin with.

and if it ever came true that i had a 'soul' to sell... since i am married, my soul is already promised to my wife for eternity and therefore i could not possibly sell it, as it wasn't mine anymore to "sell" .. win/win for me

I'm not a superstitious person but I still wouldn't do it. It's just creepy.

If it were a massive amount of $, it'd be even creepier. Wtf would the person do that if it's just a prank?

Actually maybe I am a bit superstitous. though I prefer to call it "open minded" 😉 I mean wtf if, even if it's a probability infnitesimally close to 0

I don't believe in the concept of a soul, but if somebody was offering to pay for nothing I suppose at the minimum I can 'part' with my soul for a case of beer.

Wasn't that on the Simpsons?

You could not pay me enough to willingly go to hell.

why would that matter? you're already going for murder, deceit.. not to mention a horrid character..

might as well get something out of it

Just to play along with the game; What does a soul do for you? What's gained by having one? Does it matter if I sell it? Maybe it's like an appendix. You have one, but it just sits there, and sometimes causes problems :^D

I've already sold it a number of times, to a number of suckers. One of them was for 4 bucks in quarters. Another was for a 50 dollar bill!
