He has an Opty 175 which is good and new as yet has retarded things like:

-2x512MB ram?? If you're spending $1500 or so on a new computer it better damn well have 1.5GB or more of RAM. Its only $150 or so for 2x1GB... no reason to skimp with that much to spend
-6800 Ultras in SLI? Talk about a huge waste!! The reason you're getting such high prices from Newegg is 6800Us are old and there is absolutely no reason to SLI them unless you wanna waste money for less performance. Go with a 7900GT or so.
-2 36GB Raptors are NOT worth it. I'd only get a Raptor if everything else in your system is high-end and only then if it was a 74GB or preferably the new 150GB. Most new 7200rpm 16mb drives are about as fast the 36GB Raptor.
-SB Live 5.1?? I don't care if its digital.. the Live! cards are OLD! Most NF4 onboard offer optical and COAX outputs with 7.1 sound. Only if you wanna spend more for an Audigy 2 or Xi-fi would I choose that over NF4 onboard
-OMGZZZ A DVD-ROM? WAHSOME!! I mean wtf DVD combo burners are $40 yet he incldues a stupid reader and a useless floppy
- As stated above, the flaming green LED drops the value tremendously
- Also as stated above, he makes no mention of an OS, and probably has a pirated copy of XP on it

If you can't bother to build your own (understandable), look elsewhere, or to Dell or some custom prebuilt, but NOT this one. :)

very true, everything you have said is also exactly what I was thinking. I didnt understand to much on why he skimped out on alot of the essential parts. I think I will pass on this system unless the seller is willing to cut the price way below $1600. Thank you for your time and assistance.
