I'm asking because I just bought 4 of them for $5.50 + 15.00 for overnight shipping. Is that a good deal or are those tix normally that cheap?

I don't know what the face value of those usually are. These are seats and not on the lawn (I know that's where everyone usually parties, but I can chill on the lawn and then sit down in a real chair if I feel like it)

That is a great deal if you like Phish.
I sure do.
But, if you are not a fan, it is too much.

4 of them for 5.50 is quite the deal
now 4 of them for 550 is still alright, considering what they have been going for this summer.
depends on how much you like phish too, personally i would pay 138 bucks a pop to see them.

Are they nosebleed seats or something? :D

Seriously, sounds like an amazing deal. What city/venue is this in?

Phish are an awesome band... haven't had a chance to see them since they got back together, but I definitely plan on it. Their jams are often mindblowing, even without drugs :)

Where did you get them from? Are you sure they are real tickets?

I got them from ebay from a ticket junkie that had no reserve.... It's for the Salt Lake City show next Tues....

The tickets are in the middle of the venue....front row of the section though. I do like Phish, but I'm not sure what they normally play at their concerts...I guess I'll see!

I would pay to see a monster truck rally go through the hippie wannabees at the concert.

Other than that, no, you couldn't pay me to see them.

If they were $5.50, that is a deal indeed. Face on the summer tour is right around $42.50 for most cities.

Live Phish shows are great. Unless you really know Phish's music, you are going to be in for a surprise. Their concerts are a range of songs from all their albums, songs never released, and a couple covers. First set is usually a little more song oriented and the second set is generally more jam based. Get here early for the parking lot scene. Support some hippies and buy a grilled cheese or something from people on tour. Nothing like a grilled cheese after the show. BTW, I've been to roughly 26 phish shows dating back to '92. This is the first summer tour I wont be seeing at least 1 show. Tickets are just too high right now. I was paying $23 face three years ago on their last summer tour.

You'll meet some great folks if you hang around the parking lot. There are still some really kind folks following the band.

If you want to hear some live Phish, cruise over to http://www.nugs.net While there aren't any 2003 shows, there are plenty of shows from before the hiatus. The Oct 6th show with Carini kicking things off is great.

If a friend won Phish tickets, and paid me $20 to go with him, I would turn him down. Now $50, and I might consider it.

I'm sure that ruffled some feathers, but I just find their music bland and boring. And people who consider themselves musically inclined (which I do myself) will say, "Well, an untrained ear needs flash and excitement in their music. A true music fan can appreciate music that is more subtle." I say BS. I like my music dynamic.

I figured with a $20 gamble, I'm not doing that bad. I'll be in SLC all next week for business anyway and will be bored at night...I might as well catch a show. The person I bought them from on eBay had a rating of around 500. It's obvious from the reviews that they're a NY-based ticket broker that's just trying to get what they can before next week. (cutting thier losses) If any ATOT members in SLC wanna go with me, I've got some cheap tickets....about $5 each. :D Maybe I'll go out on the weekend and try to pickup a harem to take with me. :p
