I would pay for Subscriber service again if it offered:

Higher PM limits (10,000+ would be acceptable)
No ads
Special titles/avatars (with approval of course)
Private Topics - bring 'em back

I wouldn't mind the subscription service but I don't see value in having an older registration...it's not like a new subscription would be cheaper or you would be ranked higher because of your start date.

EDIT: just noticed my account is 9 days older than yours :) You do have 2500 posts on me though.

Search which actually works like it used to.
No ads
Special titles/avatars (with approval of course)

Seriously I would pay anywhere from $30 - $50 for features like that. The "slow free server" issues were resolved long ago, my main gripe is the PM limit and I want to SUPPORT THE ANANDTECH FORUMS BY GIVING THEM MONEY WHICH THEY APPARENTLY DO NOT WANT TO ACCEPT!!!.

I just fixed my list and added:
Search which actually works like it used to.

Juice Box - It was $30/yr and well worth it.

Yeah - I could handle 30-50 bucks. I wonder if we should start an initiative to get this idea considered? :)

Unless you can make it worth their while (at least 5,000 subscribers and a cost effective way to handle customer service and billing) it won't be happening. Trust me we've tried repeatedly, it's dead :(

I even volunteered to handle billing for FREE but they still never went for it.

My heart aches :brokenheart:
