How much would you offer for this car?

For that much you can probably get a 5th gen prelude. I like the looks of it much better than either of the two mentioned here but of course I am biased.

those go for around 10K where i live, but that's stock and clean, and that car is neither.

Just got back. Dealer offered $7500. I countered with $6800, and dealer declined. If it was cheaper, I would have bought it, even though I'm not really enthusiastic about the car.

Yeah, I was going to say it looks like its been beaten.
The inside looks dirty as hell.
They didn't even do a good job cleaning it up and I can tell from just the picture.

Coming from an owner of 2 different Si, a 2000 Si with 86K miles CLEAN would be a good deal under $8K.

I'm guessing they would be a little more expensive, but an Integra around those years is something I would consider a little sporty and a nice daily driver. They are also much classier looking IMO. Damn, I miss that car. 🙁

integras are pretty ugly imo

To each his own I guess.

Must classier looking than the car the OP listed IMO.

Nah, I like mine a alot better.
Civic Si
I wish I had that exact car back(minus the tail lights, I know).

My current one doesn't look to bad but I like the electric blue better

I still ike the styling of the 99-00 Civic Si as oppose to the current Si.
Put the current engine in the 00-99 Si, now thats a combo.

Thats not a stupid wing, thats the OEM wing on a SI.

Si's keep their value really well.
I'd probably pay upto like 9000 if I was in the market for one.

Dealer offered $7800 for it. I'm really tempted.

Counter-offer with, $7800 minus the cost of a new hood...

not even funny how easily civics si are stolen, it does not matter night, day, city or suburb. I personally know so many people that got their integra and civic si stolen. Someone's si got stolen during the day while street parked. I love Civic si but probably wont get it for that reason alone.

no more than $7000 for the 1st one and wouldn't even consider the second one. you're just asking to lose whatever you'll pay for it because it will get stolen anyway.

i don't get the civic si... might as well get an integra for similar amount of money

A married female good friend and I went to NYC several months ago. She drove, THAT'S when I found out she traded-in her ABSOEFFINGLUTELY PRISTINE '99 red SI in on a Prius.

It had about 120,000 miles on it, and was both stock and totally, totally cherry. Not even a scratch on it, inside or out, and always dealer maintained. She thought that was too many miles, though.

I asked her how much she gotten on the trade-in, and she didn't even know! Her hubby (also my friend) has a hugely successful radon de-contamination business (he's a brain with several patents to his name) and pays the bills.

Sigh. I don't like red (for several reasons), but it's probably better I didn't know how little the dealer actually gave her for it. My little head might have popped.

Women sometimes! :disgust:
