How much would it cost...

to wire a 220volt outlet in a garage for a washer/dryer? I am talking about having an electrician come out to do this. Any ideas?

If you've ever done stuff around the house, you'd be able to do it yourself if you picked up a how-to guide. Figure on $200-$400 if you have an electrician do it.

In regards to the hot tub, it can be anywhere from about $600-$1k depending on your area.

The above estimates rely on a lot of things:
-Difficulty running the line
-Cost of materials in your area
-Permits situation
-Location
-Length of run
etc.

Hot tub could be about the same if he is talking about mounting an outlet on the side of the house. If he is talking about burying cable....$1000 sounds about right.

Why ask us for potentially wrong information when you could just as easily get a quote from an electrician?

perhaps someone has had similar work done, that's why.
