My younger brother and I have grown up and moved out of my parents house. For X-mas i'm looking to hire a professional service to come by and handle the domestic chores that we used to do like vacuuming, dusting, and other general housekeeping. How much would a service like that cost?

My parents home is about 3000 sq feet with 3 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms... I've googled housekeeping services but they are very vague about the pricing.

Holy sh!t are you serious.

Cleaning lady is hear right now, cost 75$ (canadian) 4 hours to clean the house. Comes once a week. Its also a 3000sq foot house with 3 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms.

We just had Molly Maid out yesterday. but as Wiz said, they supply everything AND i have no idea how they get things SO clean?!
its amazing!
I am sure we could get someone not related to a company for cheaper, but i feel much safer that way.
 
I have somebody come once a months and do it for $80. The same place does it twice a month for $140. I'm guessing prices in your area will be in the same range.
 
I think ours is about $60 per visit. She only cleans the upstairs though, which is about 2400sf. It's funny, it takes me and my wife several hours to get the house cleaned up; the housekeeper does a much more thorough job in half the time.
 
when i was single i had merry maids come in at $50 a pop. 2 women would come in and do my house. IT would be fricken spotless! i was always amazed how they did it In less then an hour

I been thinking of having them come back getting hard to keep the house clean with a 3 yr old.
