how much were you student loans and what's your monthly payment?

Around $11K for 2 years at a state college. My minimum was like $119/mo, but I paid it off over the course of about 7 months. Debt free is the way to be. 😉

18.5K coming out, 98$ monthly for a diploma I'll never use (that's right, DIPLOMA, school prices in Ottawa are screwed). Going back once I get my CC paid off and I finish/pass my CCNA.

25k, went one year, blew the rest on coke and hos. Of course this was back in 83 when they actually gave you a check (basically cash) and I never was hounded for it. Good thing it was the pre-computers are everywhere era. 🙂

I'm a freshman in college still, already 31881 in debt though haha

where do you go to school?

Penn State at the main campus, it includes 6 credits from the summer, too, though, but still

Public school for undergrad - $40k
Private school for Masters - $75k

Balance is around $65k after 2 years in the NHSC who paid $25k per year on the loans. The payment is less than .5% of gross, so that's ok for now.

only took one stafford loan, 2,650 or something. going to pay it off during the grace period so no interest.

i didnt get any of the scholarships i applied for, sucked big time. 32k by the time i was done, still paying 300 a month.

well maybe but I am probably going to join the ROTC for next year so they will pay my tuition and pay me monthly so that will help... I think they might even pay back this year's tuition or part of it
