Sooo I'm building a new gaming rig. I'm aiming for maximum performance on a budget. I haven't built a high end system in about 4 years, so I know a lot has changed, but I've done my research. Below are my system specs and I was hoping someone who deals with this more often than I can tell me how much of a PSU I will need.

Mobo: MSI K9A2-F Neo

Vid Card: EVGA GeForce 8800GT AKIMBO SuperClocked 512MB

RAM: 4gb (4 DIMMs) Kingston HyperX DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)

Processor: AMD Phenom x9850 Black Edition Quadcore

Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s

Optical Drive: LG 20X DVD/CD Burner Combo Drive

Fans: 2 120mm, 2 80mm, 1 92mm(Heatsink)

Tell me what you think, and thank you in advance for your help!

As with every other question like this on a system with a quad and the 8800GT all you need is a quality 450W to 500W PSU. And as always the Corsair vx450 is a perfect choice.

I mean this as constructive criticism, so please take it that way:

I'm not sure where you did your research, but Intel's quad cores are soundly better than AMD's, and the hard drive you chose is a generation old.
