tap water or bottled water would take gallons and gallons. Distilled water not so much. I knew someone who had a mental disorder where he wanted to drink water all the time. He literally leeched the salt, sugars, vitamins out of his system and went into a coma.

You use the bathroom once a day? Really?

And sip tea, don't drink a lot of water. Especially if it's cold water.

Yeah, in the morning before I shower. Usually that is enough for the day. I never really get urges to go. Except today...lol

that is it? man you dont drink enough water as it is. Should be at least half a gallon.

I drink a lot of water. Ever since I stopped drinking soda, I'll get ~gallon of water daily. Today I am waaay ahead of that though. Much more than usual. At least my cough finally subsided.

I think I would have gotten stones by now. It's been 35 years so far, and I am still well. I think I melt the stones away with all the hot sauce I consume. lol

I find it highly unlikely that you drink ~gallon of water daily and go to the bathroom once per day. I have read that the bladder can only contain ~400ml of urine (about .1 gal).

More than that...

On a couple of trips with my track team, we were hydrating like mad after the race with Gatorade/Powerade and water...and then we had to pile into the van to drive to the hotel.

All of a sudden I had to go really badly. I honestly thought I would piss my pants any second. I filled 3/4 of a 1L bottle. Another time I filled a 500ml bottle, squeezed, and then unleashed and filled over half of a second 500ml bottle. So there you go - 750-800ml.

I've been coughing a lot today at work for some odd reason, so I've been drinking a lot of water to calm it down. Since 8AM (4 hours ago), I've must have downed maybe 8 coffee sized cups of water to control my cough.

It's been working too, but now I feel very uncomfortable and I know it's the water messing me up. I also pee'd around 3x this morning. I usually use the bathroom once a day...

Am I going to die?

Why get our hopes up? All that liquid probably just dislodged one of your kidney stones. You're gunna hurt and wish you could die. Daily minimum is 1/2 ounce of water to each pound of body weight.

You could drown in just a few inches of water. Not that it has anything to do with your post, but it has everything to do with your subject.

Yeah, I've also overlflowed a 20oz soda bottle which is about 589 ml (while in the driver seat of my car). I was almost much done, but some did spill out and I held a bit in.

That's over 600 ml and I'm not a very big person.

It's also because she wasn't allowing herself to pee. (actually, what would distilled water have to do with it?)

You dilute the electrolytes and other crap you need when you drink distilled water or DI water even. You could probably drink 2-3 gallons of Gatorade no problem. I don't know about diabetes though.

8 coffee mugs is probably somewhere between half a gallon and a gallon. Over 4 hours that's nothing. Here in AZ I'll drink that in less than 30 minutes if I've been working out in the sun.

If you're really worried about it get some salty food or switch to gatorade.

Either you've got a bladder the size of a basketball or you're going through life dehydrated.
