Dedicated water intake advise is drastically overstated.
Most people do not need any pure water as evident by the fact that most people don't drink pure water very often, and yet we're still fine...

I drink maybe 1/2 glass of water every other day.
The rest is diet pop, coffee, beer or from food.

I've never heard 2 gallons per day, that seems like a LOT. I've always heard 8 cups, or 64oz, which is 1/2 a gallon.

About two liters, give or take half of one or so. Count me in the "who the fuck still describes their liquid consumption in fluid ounces" club.

i drink 3 or 4 liters while i'm at work. it keeps me from wanting to snack all day.

dang it, i picked the wrong option in the poll though. it would be > 72 oz.

I have between 6-7 full 32oz nalgenes over the course of a day. Usually around 4-5 while at work and another 2-3 while working out and post workout.

And yes, I do have to use the restroom almost once an hour.

at a minimum 1 gallon. Depending on the day, 2. But I can't do 2 for more than a few days or I get large muscle cramps. Usually around a gallon and a half per day.

I just drink straight from the gallon jug at work so I can monitor my water intake.

It looks like I average ~222oz a day, 3x32oz at work, 26oz intra-workout, plus 2-3 cups of tea, and whatever I have with lunch/dinner probably another ~32oz each. I don't pee all that often, 4-6 times a day maybe.

Probably 32 to 48 fl oz pure water. About the same in tea (usually green) and coffee. Lately I've been upping the water because I've been drinking a lot of gyokuro.

64-100oz I'd say.

I need about 16oz every 8 hours minimum.

I drink about 32oz when I wake up, 32oz at work, and 0-32oz when I get home. Sometimes I drink nothing when I get home and wake up super thirsty or other times I sip on peppermint/chamomile tea and soda or whatever.

Because one bottle is 16.9oz

A typical kitchen glass is usually 12-20oz.

One bottle is sufficient to not be dehydrated but I feel better with 2. I personally like to keep hydrated.

About 4 to 6 cups a day. Trying to keep the kidney stones away.

Actually I'm just posting so you liter people can read below. 16.9 oz? We have to do something about you people.

Drink a ton, really. I have a 25 oz glass water bottle because fuck plastic that I must fill up four times a day not including all the seltzer water I drink while having a smoke. LOL
