How much trash do you generate?

We typically put out 1-2 trash bags worth of trash a week and a full small recycling bin. Most of our neighbors seem to put out 2 full 20 gal trash cans and often have a bag or two next to it. Seems like a lot of random crap to fill up that much (unless you have a litter of children)

A lot. Mostly because everything needs tons of packaging these days.
Kinda gettin tired of it. Especially Amazon. They send giant boxes for tiny purchases.

Must of the stuff they throw out is from the kitchen, I'm sure no one really throws out anything valuable like electronics or clothing in 20 gallon cans per week even if it's a family with several children.
I don't do much waste myself, I eat outside mostly and live alone so that makes it one bag per 2 weeks, it's not big but I don't know exact volume my trash bin has.

About a plastic grocery bag per week. That includes used cat litter, but not recylables.

One 10-gallon trash bag every 3-4 weeks. And about 1 regular grocery bag per week with crap like tissues.

Boxes get flattened and tossed into the recycling bin. If I didn't put the bin out it would probably take me at least 2 months to fill it (collection every other week).

Maybe 1 regular garbage bag per 2 weeks or so. Sometimes even less, depends on my work schedule and how much of my time is even spent at home.

Probably two trash bags a week. But I recycle more than what goes in the trash. I mean the damn recycle bin which stands at least 5 feet tall and is 2 and a half feet wide gets jammed packed and some times I have no choice but to throw out the recyclables.

I recycle quite a bit. My trash goes in 34gal bags, but my kitchen garbage "can" is smaller, so the bags are only like half full. I hate those thin, tearable, white kitchen trash bags though, so I use bigger black ones.

Edit: All of those Newegg deliveries. LOL.

A lot. Tons of Amazon deliveries. Fortunately we have a huge recycling bin. I wish Amazon did more "frustration-free" packaging to lessen the waste. Also cook a lot, so any bits leftover from that. Wish I had a backyard so I could compost!

My wife, 2 dogs, cat and 6 chickens do about 1.5 bag of landfill per week. 10 gal. And 10 gal. Recycle, and 2 or 3 gal. Of compost. Compost gets filled every couple weeks cleaning out the coop.

Enough grocery bag-fulls to fill a 32-oz garbage can twice a week. Family of 4. I've seen it all though - 2 adults producing more than us too. It really depends on containers of what you're buying.
