I've never tipped furnature delivery men. Are you supposed to? I kind of view them like UPS and FedEx guys.

I've never been a furniture delivery guy, but I used to install custom closet organizers (like California Closets), which involved carrying hundreds of pounds of material up stairs and most projects took an entire day or more. And of course we always vacuumed before we left and didn't leave a trace except for the brand new closet organizer. In the year I did that, I got one tip of $20, which I certainly didn't expect. It's nice, but I don't think you'll piss anyone off by not tipping them (except waiters).

I used to work at a MB car dealer, and would pickup/deliver peoples cars when they needed serviced. I think I only got a tip once. Oh well, I got to drive the cars around.

Man that's a nice piece of furniture.

Normally I'd say no tip. But since it was so heavy and it took them so long and it was up stairs I think they deserved it.
