OP, you're a tool. Don't charge her anything. Being a grandma, she'll probably try to force money or some other compensation on you anyhow. Tell her that you don't want anything. If she insists, like grandparents so often do, tell her that you'll take lunch or dinner or something.
 
You people just don't get it. He already offered to do it for free, and she WANTS to pay. It would be an HUGE INSULT to her not to not allow payment.

As people age they lose more and more control of their lives. Obviously this is something she still controls and wants to pay. Don't rob her of that dignity.

You aren't doing her a favour by FORCING her to accept your work for free.

My grandma is the same way.

I would go over and hook up a VCR and she'd give me $20. I didn't refuse - and if I did she'd never let me anyway.
 
Anal sex with the gf should just about cover it.

Or a BJ on the way there/back would cover it as well (both maybe?).

Ok, fine one of the first two options and she makes food where you take home left overs (and if she gives cash slip it back into the purse, check either endorse it to the gf to do with what she wants or use it to pay for a dinner that you take the grandma out to).

Certain people become HIGHLY OFFENDED when you refuse to accept things from them. He already offered to do it for free. The grandmother obviously wants to pay for the service. Don't INSULT her by not allowing her to do that. Charge a small fee and be done with it.
