I have a friend that is a Dominoe's manager. He says $5 is a decent tip. I think he's f'n crazy. $2 + the change on the order.

I think tipping pizza drivers is bullshit, the company should give them the delivery charge + whatever tip we give them.

I always tip 20%. Amazingly my pizza is always delivered hot, fresh and FAST from the local best pizza place in town. Wasn't like that until I started tipping well.

Same when I went to lunch the other day - "I got your beers" the bartender said. I tipped him 10 on 20 dollar meal.

Wanna live well, tip well. You'll get taken care of and you will absolutely get preferential treatment.

That is very good advice spidey07, it has worked well for myself too! :)

It is kind of like take a penny leave a penny. Drivers are getting jipped all night so if you have the means, give more than $3. A standard tip is $2+change.

A wise man told me "take care of them and they will take care of you".

Make no mistake - pizza delivery guys know who tips well and who doesn't. A couple extra bucks to be treated like royalty is more than worth it. Call it unfair if you want but life isn't fair but if 5 bucks is going to make a guy want my order and want that ticket then so be it.

They know what is up. Bartenders are exactly the same, slip them a 20 on the first drink and they'll take care of the rest. Huge crowded bar 3 people deep and when they see you walk up - "what do you need sweetie, I got ya"

Just a heads up delivery fees very rarely go to delivery drivers.

I usually tip 3-5 bucks but then again I spent a year or two driving and know how sucky tips can be.

I delivered for a few years.

Change on the dollar, you're a dick.
$1+, you're still a dick.
$2+, you're just cheap
$3+, hey, thanks, have a good night
$4+, you, sir, are my hero.
$5+, you made my night.

If you're a dick, AND cheap, we talk massive amounts of shit on you the whole night. Next time around, we're drawing straws as to who gets your order. We take our sweet ass time getting there.

If you're a dick, AND cheap, on multiple occasions, your house is getting egged. Don't be an ass to people who know where you live.
