work: 8-9 hours; the only thing I can do at work that doesn't involve me sitting at or near a computer is making ethernet cables
home: maybe an hour or two. I check my e-mail before and after work, but if I have some time to kill, I'll sit down and surf the net. not as much as I used to, though... having a computer in a separate room has really changed the dynamics of my computing experience. before, my computer chair was the only chair in my living room. so if I were watching tv or playing a video game, I'd also be sitting at my computer at the same time. now, if I want to use the computer, I need to pick my ass up and walk over to the computer room. heh.
in related news, I'm thinking of buying a laptop
