Simple question, how many days do you get for Christmas, and how are you planning on spending it? I was originally supposed to get only christmas and the day after but my boss pulls strings for us and we got monday off too, i love it! :D

My job gets christmas eve, christmas, new years eve and new years off. I took off the remaining 3 days so after today I'm done until the 2nd. Been a while since I've had a break this long.

Our daughter has the week off from day-care so I'll be spending it with her, probably visiting family and doing a couple day trips somewhere. Not sure where yet.

I've been off work since December 15 and won't be going back until January 3. I had a lot of PTO left at the end of this year and had to use it or lose it. I'll still have a week carried over to 2013 as well.

For Christmas & New Year's combined, today's my last day, and come back Jan 2. And, for the most part, I have today off; I'm present, my physics class in front of my consists of.... zero students (they're all in a concert for the little kids, except 2, and I let them go watch.)

Xmas eve and Xmas along with New Year's Eve and New Years.

But I'll be working through them both so they don't apply to me unfortunately. Making fat bonus though

We get Christmas Eve and Christmas day off as well as New Years day. I ended up putting in to have off till the 2nd so it will be a nice and much needed break.

When I worked at BMG we had the whole 2 weeks off gratis. I miss those days.

Officially, I get Christmas and Boxing Day off. I used my floating holiday to take Monday off as well so I get a bit of a mini holiday. I'm in today. I doubt they'll be a lot going on. Rush hour will probably start at noon and finish up before 5pm. We're going to order food and just kick back.

Shopping is pretty much done. I'm heading off to the vintage video game store tomorrow to see if they've still got that laser disc player.

Our office is always closed 12/24 through 1/1, and they'll sometimes give us 1/2 off as well if it falls on a Friday, for example.

Otherwise, I had a couple of addtional days I had to burn and tacked on in front (Wednesday was my last day in the office) and I still rolled over 2 weeks of PTO.

Always get the week of christmas to new years off and not counted as vacation, it's paid holiday. Don't have to work until 1/2. It's a nice perk.

A lot of guys take the week before off as vacation, getting essentially 2.5 weeks off.

We've been furloughed for the 2nd year around xmas. We get 12/24-01/02/13 off, but I decided to take the 2nd -4th off too and just make it a full 2 wks off.

Right now I get zero time off that is paid. My office shuts down for the 25th and the 1st, so basically I can't work those two days and I am not paid for them either.

Christmas Day, New Years Day, and normal weekends in between. Nothing else special.
