How much time can you spend with someone?

How much time can you spend with one person before you start to get irritated by this person, or just get bored/annoyed?

My friend picked me up at 7:30 this morning and she took me to breakfast and lunch, hung out through to 3:20. Nearly 8 hours uninterrupted... I enjoyed myself the whole time.

How about you?

Depends how well you get along. If they're one of those quiet quiet can't hold a conversation types, then not more than an hour or two.

I hiked with my friend Corey for three months straight. Never really got too fed up there, either.

lol. Nah. We've tried going out actually, and that didn't work... and I nearly lost a rare, valued friendship.

I think I have ADD or something when it comes to hangin out with people. That's why I had like 2 or 3 crews in college--if I got bored with one crew I'd just switch to the other for the rest of the day/week. LOL, at one point it was the daytime shift and the nighttime shift! Anyway, the worst its been was when I drove from Charlotte to South Beach Miami in one day while pickin' up friends along the way. By the end of the day I was ready to kill everyone.

Depends. If my fiancee just got home from work and proceeds to tell me ever single freaking uneventful inconvenience that happened during the day, I can only take about 10 minutes of blathering before my head explodes.

I cringe in fear when I hear the garage door open, for I know in about 30 seconds I'm going to be bound and gagged, and forced to hear about just how aweful her day was for the next 20 minutes.

Say, what would you people think about NOT getting married?

Also another question, um... what exactly is the point, or benefit (if there is one) to being married? If I'm not married, I can break it off a lot easier than if I am. Right? Just a little curious. I can't see myself being married and having kids, etc etc etc. I think I would actually prefer to live with a GF rather than be married, although being able to say I have a wife would be nice..

women after 3-5years of dating they'll want commitment and maybe kids at that age. So marriage is on the cards for them. If you don't marry and they really want it then they'll probably end the relationship as you can't give them that commitment.

Yeah but if they truly love each other should they not be able to be equally happy whether married or not, and feel equally committed to one another?
