How much steak is too much?

College life...I don't have to motivation to cook much more than a steak. Is eating a steak 3-4 times a week that bad?

As long as you wrap it in bacon it is ok.

No, I'd eat steak every day if i could afford it.

I would too, but I don't want it to make me die early

Fuck that. I'd be quite fine if steak leads to my demise.

So when a truck carrying steak hits you it will still be fine? 😉

Also I thought you prefer cats and dogs.

Steak isn't bad for you. Tree hugging PETA assholes will have you believe otherwise, but they're just full of shit.

Eat your steak. You'll survive.

Well, excessive consumption of red meat has been linked to cancer and other diseases, so I'd probably limit it.

Depends on where you get your red meat and what the cattle ranchers do to their cows. Excessive most likely means a lifetime of gorging on it. Living on it for 4 years because you're a broke college student isn't going to hurt anyone.

Since when did broke students go from having to eat ramen noodles to having to eat steak?

So true.

Makes me wonder what kind of steak is this.

Everyone will develop some kind of cancer in their lives if they live long enough.

Eh. Steak and red meats are not harmful if eating them often, UNLESS you are a sloth. If you are not active, avoid eating red meat all the time.

Red meat has fats and proteins that are excellent for the active individuals, because you're body will use them. Fats aren't the enemy unless you are lazy. And red meats do have essential fatty acids and plenty of vitamins. There is SOME link between too much meat and myoglobin intake being detrimental to health, but the main form of health concerns is increased saturated fat. It's a win/loss thing, because the polyunsaturated fats are great, as will be some triglycerides, but the saturated fat is not exactly great for you.

But like I said, maintain an active lifestyle, and red meat shouldn't be any concern for you. Not sure if eating every day is a good idea even in that case, but shit... we're all going to die some day, might as well die after having enjoyed life and tasty foods.
I'd much rather eat red meats and pasta every day than anything else. And I hate greens.
