My space sucks, the drive models can be seen in my rigs, all but the one mentioned is 7200rpm

(gotta love msinfo32 for 9x)

Available space on drive C: 267MB of 19530MB (FAT32)
Available space on drive D: 247MB of 38160MB (FAT32)
Available space on drive E: 14MB of 156289MB (FAT32)
Available space on drive F: 106MB of 19530MB (FAT32)
Available space on drive G: 186MB of 38160MB (FAT32)
Available space on drive J: 669MB of 29307MB (FAT32)
Available space on drive K: 36MB of 4869MB (FAT32)
Available space on drive L: 794MB of 29307MB (FAT32)
Available space on drive M: 85MB of 4869MB (FAT32)

C/F is my 40 gig
D/G is my 80 gig
E is my 160 gig (the only 5400rpm)
J/L is my 60 gig (temporary mapped from other system)
K/M is my old 10.2gig (once again mapped)

I need more space badly

I have a Maxtor 40GB HD that spins at 7200rpm.

It has two partitions of equal size:

C: 13.5GB free of 18.6GB
D: 9.35GB free of 18.6GB

Home #1 - 80 GB (RAID 1 array of 2 80 GB 7200 RPM)
Home #2 - 120 GB (missing a 40 GB that died and is in RMA process) 7200 RPM
Home #3 - 10-20 GB total (I have no idea, it's just sitting in the corner unused at the moment) 5400 RPM and 7200 RPM drives
Work - 15 GB 7200 RPM
Servers here at work: > 2 TB including 5400 RPM IDE drives in some old NAS devices up to brand new 15K RPM SCSI drives - We backup on a weekly basis almost 1 TB of info, but we have no idea how much total space we have.

Well, in this one I have a 30GB Maxtor 7200rpm that has about 6GB left, as well as a 10GB 5400rpm Maxtor that I need to reformat and throw my mp3's and whatnot on.

And I have an old Compaq P100 system with a 1.5GB drive, I just reformatted and put 98SE on there so I'd say about 1.1GB left?

the main drive (with operating system) is a maxtor 60gb 7200rpm

the extra storage drive (basically for movies :) ) is a maxtor 80gb 5400rpm

im really not sure what size harddrive you could get for the ram

and i would just say something like "i have crucial 2 x 256mb pc2100 for sale" and if someone wants more info then let them know it only overclocked to about 145mhz, etc etc

actually if it was me i would post something like this: (but insert your own $$ amounts, qnd harddrive size )

thread title
FS/FT Crucial 2 x 256mb pc2100

thread body
i have 2 extra sticks of crucial pc2100 for sale $28shipped each or $50 shipped for the pair
or i would be willing to trade them for a harddrive (im wanting something in the 60gb range)

I've had the same 15Gig Maxtor DiamondMax 40 for three years with no problems thus far. I haven't managed to totally fill it yet. I've filled about twelve gigs so far, although with pron, movies and everything else that I'd like to put on it, I've held back due to it's small size. I also have an old 2Gig 5400RPM drive for stuff I choose not to put on the 15Gig. I'll be upgrading sometime very soon I hope, and when I do, it'll be at least 100Gigs, as I believe my current drive is impeding my systems performance. I need a drive strictly for pron and the like:)

Maxtor ATA133 30GB
84% Free

Not too bad, I don't like very cluttered drives, and usually I have even less data in use.

At work, I'm using about half of my 18Gb Cheetah X15-36LP, which is a 15000rpm drive. At home, I'm using about 10Gb of my 40Gb Barracuda ATA IV, which is a 7200rpm drive.

120GB IBM 7200 RPM in a stripped RAID set in main machine.

2 x 45GB IBM 7200 RPM, waiting for additional hardware for new PC.

20GB Maxtor 7200 RPM in junk machine.
