How much space are you living in?

I'm living alone in a townhouse styled condo with about 1400 square feet. It seems like my neighbors typically have more than one person living there. I think there are 3 people living at the house to my right. A guy and probably his girlfriend and another guy. I'm guessing the guy is living in the basement or something because the other 2 bedrooms are kinda tiny. Another neighbor seems to be a single guy who probably has rented out a room or something (because I noticed a new guy there). Most of the people in the neighborhood seems to be single families with 1 or 2 kids.

The thing I noticed is that I have to flush my unused toilets (I have 3 toilets) or they will get stained! In fact, for about a year I didn't really flush 1 toilet and there is like rust stain that I cannot get out. I thought they wouldn't get dirty because they are unused.

My own home of about 1500 sq ft with 2 rooms that I hardly even walk into. I here alone. My wife died 16 years ago and my son is married with 4 kids and lives in the L.A. area.

2 baths- one hardly ever used. And yes that stain is probably mineral. To get it out, remove all the water from the bowl and use one of the popular mineral deposit removers on the market. The stain will eventually come back and you will have to repeat the process.

When I was in college I shared a 600 sq foot apartment with one other guy. I'm not sure about the square footage of the house I live in now, but it has 1 bathroom and hardly any light switches

Typical single guy living by myself type here. 8400 square feet. Got five bathrooms, but I use all of them on a pretty regular basis (though not simultaneously). There's really only one or two rooms that don't get used that often, but it'd be pretty unusual for me to go a week without doing something in those rooms, too.

I just moved from a small 650 sq ft apartment in NY to a 1000 sq ft house in CT with a garage and an attic. All of my stuff (espically my big screen TV!) seemed cramped in my old place, but now I need to get floor rugs to help cover up the HUGE areas of unused space in this place!

I am originally from CT (Norwalk) and I sure miss a basement and attic.

You sound like a pathetic loser that noone wants anything to do with. Go clean your toilets and watch the world go by.

1512sq ft, almost finished closing the deal with the house... My current house is 800sq ft, very tiny and very cheap. The house i'm getting has 3br, 2ba, two stories, and 2 car garage. $123,000 doesn't sound like a bad price to me.

I'm FINALLY in my new place and very happy. :)

1200SF, 2BR, 2BA. Third (top) floor. Balcony (about 4x6), storage closet out on the balcony, etc.

The second BR is the computer/tool/storage room. It's as neat as I can get it. All the stuff is piled up in the corners. THere is enough room on the floor to put the queen-size air mattress should I have company. That's good enough, IMO.

Besides, all the other rooms are neat as a pin. No clutter, nothing on the floor, etc.

BTW, as compared to my old place, this is NIRVANA. No Section 8, everyone has a job, no punks smoking weed and busting beer bottles in the parking lot, etc.

AND, nobody has called the cops on me for my movies yet!!!! I've been VERY GOOD about it; I knock off the noise NLT 8:30-9:00PM, no matter what day of the week it is.

I'm sure eventually somebody will call the cops, but really, they've little to complain about.

Next month, I'll be getting a garage for my truck & bike too. Another $40/mo, but worth it.

2400 square feet and it's just me and a roommate. There's 1 empty room and an empty living room...I don't use half the house

I don't touch one bathroom...hell I don't think I've been in it in months...I should check for stains and maybe use it periodically.
