Well, I was just asking the cost. I wanted to make sure that it wasn't going to be like $5000 or something.

The nail is gone now, though. He said that it was very badly ingrown. I got to see the nail, and it was sticking out badly.

ingrown toenails can be removed by your family doctor. they'll apply a tourniquet. inject local anesthetic. cut the nail down and remove the entire thing. can also kill the nail bed to prevent toenail growth permanently.

i don't know how much it costs but you have to schedule this particular procedure as it will take probably 30 minutes.

The whole process took about 90 minutes.

The actual work? About 10 seconds.

he took the whole nail????

I sure hope it was a pediatrist, because a regular doctor totally screwed up my toe by just removing the nail.

Your school, University should have a health clinic. I did not have Medical Insurance while in school and they helped me out with $5 or $10-copays and had Dr's on site.

one time a young female Dr. in training looked at my wang:D
