Ok so my dad needed a new computer so I decided I would just build him one with the old parts I had laying around from my past computer. I had an Epox motherboard, dual core opteron at 2.4GHz, 2GB of ram and a X800XL graphics card. I also had an Enermax Powersupply. I then ordered a new case, cd/dvd burner driver, and a 500GB HDD.
I set it all up and used my student software thingy to get my dad a free copy of vista bussiness so i used that for the comptuer's OS. I also set him all up with firefox+cool addons, AVG antivirus, got the printer to work(getting it to work was a bitch), and I got all his files he needed transfered over to his new PC.
My question is how much should I charge my dad for this? My dad is a doctor so he isn't exactly poor but I don't want to rip him off. So what would be a reasonable price to put on all the work I did plus all the parts I gave him?
