How much should I ask

should I decide to sell? Nikon D7100, MB-D15, 2 batteries, charger and a Sigma Art 18-35 1.8. All in excellent shape. I was thinking $1000, but didn't want to post it for sale until I was confident in my price and if I really want to sell it.

---

Sorry, price checks are not allowed because, in the past, they have been used as a cover for "auction style" (best offer, etc.) offers, which are not allowed on our For Sale/Trade forum.

Thanks for understanding.

That lens by itself is $800 new and is highly coveted.

$1000 is a steal for the right person.

And then the low-balling starts. Whatever you really, secretly *want*... be sure it's a little above that.

$1000 is my low price should I decide to sell. But I might be persuaded to pay for shipping.:sneaky:

From what I've seen lately, assuming all is in like-new quality with a low shutter count, the D7100 should go for around $550-$600 on the used market. The grip won't give you much more unfortunately, maybe $50-$75. The lens should be good for around $600 as well.

$1k is definitely a fantastic price for the combo, but I would seek at least $1100-$1200.

Looks like the chances of my selling are going up. For some reason the door locks on the car quit working. You can hear it, but they will not unlock. It's an Audi, so the repair could be costly.

I will be removing the camera from the for sale section soon. Anyone that wants it better speak up there soon. I do not have the patience to deal with the for sale section.

Yea I don't think this forum is a good place to sell it. Craigslist is a good place to sell stuff. I've sold tons of gear on there. Just meet at a public place like a coffee shop and only accept cash.

If you're in a hurry and more flexible on what you get, eBay. But eBay holds your proceeds for a few days, and you have to take the item back if the buyer is unhappy for any reason. (For how long, I don't know. A week? 10 days?)

If you're not in a hurry, Craigslist. It can take more time to sell, but you can also be more sticky on your price. Just ignore all the "i'll give you 300 hundred let me know quick k?" replies.

Craigslist might work if I didn't live in the poorest or close to the poorest county in the state and the people here were educated enough to know their phone isn't really a good camera.
