GODDDDDDDDDDDD

THERE'S SO MUCH F*SCKING READING !!!!!!!1

i mean i rarely do it, if ever. i, like most college students, i imagine, play it completely by utility. it totally depends on how important actually doing that class session's reading is to getting a high grade on an upcoming grade, be it an in-class discussion, recitation, paper, exam, etc. hence, 99% of the time, i save ALL the reading for exam time and screw myeslf over.

seriously, how did you folks go about reading in undergrad where many psci and hist classes ask you to read literalyl 150 pp per class session. what kind of insanity is this!???!

I was supposed to read one novel for a first year english class. I didn't read it. I did the essay drunk 5 hours before it was due and got an "A+ Simply the best essay I've ever read on this book" on it.

I do read the chapters in my science/math books while doing the homework so I can understand the stuff, but that doesn't really count as just reading I figure.

Reading is for chumps. :p

UBC

honestly though, the essay was pretty good. I had read the book a few years before in HS, so I pretty much knew what it was about. A little internet summary stuff brought back the major points pretty quickly, and the rest just wrote itself.

English is complete BS anyways. I wrote essays for that class that I honestly tried on and got anwhere from C- to A- on. It seemed completely random, so I figured I'd shoot the odds with the final essay and won :)

I do my math/science questions, but not much reading.

I do have a history class, but I still haven't gotten the book for it. Hard to read when you don't have the book ;)

I had to read 7 books a week while walking to my classes barefoot up a hill while there was a blizzard raging outside.

i usually took classes that focused more on lecture notes than facts from a book. i mean if you have to read a book to do well in a class, why are they giving lectures?

profs lecture the points they feel are important, and they shoudl test you accordingly. not ramble on, then test you on facts straight out of a book.. imo anyway.

after my frosh year, i rarely bought books, mostly course packs. besides, how many o you remember what you learned in undergrad? i sure don't remember much..
