I bought the Digiland 701Q at BB the other day, and I was able to browse with Firefox 33.1 ARM / Android for a long while. I then factory-reset the tablet. I reinstalled Firefox, and now it's crashing with OOM errors just browsing these forums.

The tablet has a quad-core Cortex A7, and 512MB of RAM.

Edit: It only cost $50.

Firefox for Android is kind of a pig. I'm using 382Mb with 3 tabs open. I like it for the features, but you might want to try something like Lucid or Lightning to save resources. 512Mb is a little too light imo. It's fine for the right price, but for decent usability, I think 1Gb+ is needed.

512mb is just sad. 1gb was bad enough. Moving to 2gb meant much smoother operation.
