Nine hundred something a year. Thank god we have most of our land in timber deferral status, otherwise it'd be a LOT higher.

You pay it in your rent.

I paid about $9200.

Texas - love no income tax, hate property tax.

My county govt collects tax for CARS too! This is in addition to the state's registration fee. Ridicurous.

And I pay around $2300 for the house. My city provides a lot of 'social services.' :disgust:

alright smarta$$. the op did not specify what they meant by 'property'.

nice. What state? Any other property taxes required (cars, boats, etc)

I like your state already.

1% on the house here in KY.

350 on the car.

if you're renting you're still paying it. it's just not enumerated in your monthy rent.

About $3000 last year.

Our borough assembly is working on a bill right now that would replace the property tax with a 3% sales tax.

OMG, that's insane!!!

A little less than 1% here (Lexington, KY) on the house.

Don't know on the cars (% wise) but it was around $350 total for both (Durango and Intrepid).
