How much power will i need for a small game server/router!

hey guys..

just wondering what kind of system would i need for a small counter strike server for 4-8 players..and a NAT router for in home use.

just looking for mhz, ram basically. also if i will need a good video card...


600mhz/256mb's of ram? running linux (slack 8 btw).

The video card shouldn't matter. 600MHz would be fine, but with CPUs so cheap (1GHz for $100) why not get more? However, RAM is where it really counts as far as servers go. I'd get 512, and get a fast HDD (ata/100 or SCSI or IDE-RAID)
