How much power is my CPU using up?

I got a Winchester 3000+ OC'd to a 3500+ equivalent.

Just curious - When I'm running the CPU at 100%, is the power consumption the same as if I were running the CPU at idle/minimal usage? I'd like to think not, but I'm just curious what the difference would be between 100% usage and idle. Is there an app out there that can tell me?

TIA!

From the measurements I've seen, the CPU (if using stock 1.35V-1.4V) should use 8-10W during idle with no Cool 'n Quiet activated. The power consumption during load is in the 35-40W range. So, the difference is quite large. Also, there isn't any program that can show the power consumption for you, just the temperatures.
