I have the Antec SmartPower 2.0 SP-500 500w PSU running a Abit KN8 SLI, an AMD x2 4600+, and 2 gigs Corsair DDR400. I know the 8800gts 320 can be demanding but my PS is SLI certed. Is it enough?

Yes, but you should make sure the capacitors in that thing are OK.

The Smartpowers were built with Fuhjyyu caps, which are infamous for going bad (sometimes in a flashy way) under long-term heat. Antec set their PSU cooling to be quiet rather than all that cool, so the combination has resulted in all sorts of trouble.

You may be OK, but make sure the caps aren't bulging or leaking...

Yea, I would take s44's word for it. Im not saying it'll happen to you. But it did to my dad's PSU. One of his starting bulging, and it just woulnt work right. He had his for a while once it started this. He found posts online ( forget where ) that they used some kind of cheap caps in them. His was a smartpower 350 watt.

It isnt that antecs are bad psu's right? Ive always been told they are good quality. Its probably more due to the poor cooling than the capacitors themselves.
