How much power does a computer use ???

OK, let's say a P3-800, GeForce, Burner, 17" or 19" Monitor ..... how much power would this use in 24hrs ?

Once I get a few definate results, I can checkout how much it actually costs to run a PC .....

A 17-19" monitor uses about 100-150 W when on, dropping to 10 W or less when in standby.

I'd estimate a PC base-unit like that described to use about 150-200 W

A worst-case estimate based on these figures comes to about 9 units (kWh) per 24 hours. Electricity prices vary, but in the UK I currently pay about 6p per unit (9 cents), which works out to about US $0.80 per day.
